CYLINDRICAL FENDER SYSTEM

Cylindrical fenders can be used in a variety of applications to provide cost-effective solutions for berths for large and small vessels.

The cylindrical fender is a simple and versatile marine fender system, and it is the first type of rubber fender with clear properties.

The progressive response of our cylindrical fenders are ideal for applications that require protection from large objects and impacts. We have specially designed these cylindrical fenders to provide the maximum possible compression rate without warping or deteriorating them. They have an outer diameter of up to 2,700 mm, an inner diameter range of 50 to 1,300 mm, and a variable length of up to 20 meters. Special dimensions and features, such as pre-bending or connections can be required. Length is mainly limited by handling and transport, and typically very long cylindrical moths are used for tugboat bows usually divided into three sections.

The wide range of available dimensions (and almost any intermediate size) means that cylindrical fenders can be closely matched for each application. Depending on the size and substructure of the fender, the cylindrical fender can be simply installed by using chains, rods, ropes or specially designed ladder holders.

The ratio of reaction force and energy absorption to the cylindrical fender increases until the rated deflection is the advantage that leads to softer berthing. All cylindrical fenders can be delivered with the appropriate fixtures (chains, brackets, support rods, ladder brackets.
