Tugboat Cylindrical Fender

Cylindrical tugboat fenders are widely used in tugboats, push boats, and main fender systems on workboats and are typically installed on the bow or stern in combination with Keyhole, M or W-shaped moats.

The basic design is a cylindrical fender with additional circular grooves for mounting chains or nylon straps and tapered ends.

Available in straight and tapered end types. Its circles are flexible for ship-to-ship operation of different ship types.

Cylindrical tugboat fenders are usually fixed with vertical chains, through the center of the fender, and supplemented with canvas straps or chains as grooves.

The standard diameter of the cylindrical tugboat fender is up to 1000 mm and the continuous or connection length is up to 20 m (length is limited only by handling and transport). Longer lengths are usually divided into 2 or 3 parts.

These special fenders provide heavy protection against a wide range of impacts. Because of their weight, they are commonly used in larger marine vessels.
